This page explains how to delete your SportzTrakr account and its data. You can do it in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed. You do not need to sign in to read this page.
In the app (fastest)
- Open SportzTrakr and sign in.
- Go to Profile and open Danger Zone.
- Choose one of two options:
- Delete All Data removes everything you have tracked and keeps your account, profile, messages, crew, teams and any safety reports.
- Delete Account permanently deletes your account and its data, as described below.
Paid subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it with the store or service you subscribed through (the App Store, Google Play or Stripe), or billing continues. The app reminds you of this before it deletes your account.
Without the app
Email support@sportztrakr.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm it is you, delete your account within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
Deleting a child’s profile
A parent or guardian can delete a child’s profile in the app (Family or Parent dashboard, Delete Child) or by emailing us from the parent account’s email address. This works for children under 18, or when no birth date is on file. An adult deletes their own account.
If you are the only guardian of a child’s profile, delete that child’s profile first; the app tells you if this applies.
What is deleted
When you choose Delete Account, we delete:
- your profile, sign-in methods (including passkeys) and settings;
- your games, schedules, match events and statistics, availability, RSVPs, documents and uploads, templates, schedule imports and linked calendars;
- your expenses, budgets, seasons, payment and fee records;
- your AI assistant chats and any feedback you sent us;
- your direct messages (both sides of every conversation), crew connections, referee profile and saved venues;
- teams you own, with their rosters and team chats, and scheduling polls you created.
Games you created are deleted too, including other people’s chat messages, assignments and RSVPs on them.
Deletion happens all at once: it either fully completes or changes nothing.
What is kept
- Kept, with your name removed (shown as “Deleted user”): messages you sent in group chats and in other people’s games; attendance and lineup records you recorded as a coach; assignment and offer history that other people rely on, including an assignor’s copy of a referee directory entry that an assignment still needs; and audit logs.
- Kept, no longer linked to you: records other people keep that mention you, such as an expense a parent recorded for a child, or a contact you added to a club or school directory.
- Safety reports are kept so they can still be reviewed. A report you filed is no longer linked to your account. A report that names you in its text is kept as written.
What is kept for a limited time
- Backup copies: up to 7 days.
- Records we must keep by law.
- Subscription and billing records held by Apple, Google Play, Stripe and RevenueCat, under their own rules.
For how we handle your information generally, see our Privacy Policy (section 6, Data Retention).
