2. Program Purpose

SportzTrakr uses SMS text messages only to deliver one-time verification codes to users during sign-in and phone number verification. We do not send marketing, promotional, or recurring text messages of any kind.

4. How to Opt In

SMS opt-in at SportzTrakr is an explicit, three-step process inside the app. You retain control at every step and may decline at any time without losing access to the rest of SportzTrakr.

  1. Reach the verification screen. Navigate to Account Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication, or to Profile → Phone Number, and enter the mobile phone number you want to enroll.
  2. Tick the consent checkbox. A checkbox labeled "I agree to receive SMS verification codes from SportzTrakr to the phone number above" is presented, unchecked by default. You must affirmatively check this box to proceed.
  3. Tap "Send Code". The button is disabled until the consent checkbox is ticked. Tapping it triggers a single verification SMS from SportzTrakr to the number you entered.

If you do not tick the consent checkbox, no SMS will ever be sent. You can still use SportzTrakr — email-based two-factor authentication and unverified phone-number storage remain available.

You must be signed in to your own SportzTrakr account to enroll. We do not collect phone numbers via web forms, landing pages, third-party lists, or purchased data. We do not share collected phone numbers with affiliates or third parties for marketing purposes.

A typical verification SMS looks like this:

6. Message Frequency

One SMS per verification request. You receive a message only when you actively request one by tapping "Send Code." There are no recurring, scheduled, or bulk messages. Typical volume for a single user is 0–2 messages per month.

Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. SportzTrakr does not charge for SMS messages.

Note: Opting out of SMS may disable 2FA sign-in. You can re-enroll at any time by adding your phone number again.

Reply HELP to any SportzTrakr SMS to receive a response with contact information. You may also email support@sportztrakr.com at any time.

10. Third-Party Disclosure

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are shared only with Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, for the sole purpose of transmitting verification codes on our behalf. Phone numbers and opt-in data are never sold, rented, or shared with affiliates or third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
